Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on how consistent it is working as an inshore commercial diver (40 hour weeks regularly?)

I don't think it is that kind of job. If I remember correctly it's more like being a driver than a diver. lots of time behind the wheel going from job to job. The more you are willing to travel the more jobs you will work.

I consistently work as an inspection diver. You usually aren't doing the same thing everyday though which is a good and a bad thing. As far as commercial work I have a friend who works for UCC in Essex and he is constantly traveling and work can be sporadic till you fully break out in the industry.
