With all the flooding going on with Suwannee Caves … how’s ginnie?

About a foot or two high, but otherwise normal.

Surface traffic is picking up, cave diving traffic seems to be going down slowly.

Lots of surface traffic. Can't post the video, but it is what you think it is. Minus the water. Oh, the guy in the front is pulling.

Last week I dived Devils' & saw divers in every off-shooting passageway all the way up to the roller coaster. It was a sheet show in the cave. DPVs silting it out, swimmers silting it out and no place to comfortably deco in the Eye because of all the divers.

Well looking good so far the Suwannee went down 9ft since the crest. If it keeps going maybe LR will be diveable in a couple of weeks.

So if I were to dive tomorrow, which sites would be accessible? Is Peacock out also?

I think it's still just Ginnie, Manatee, Jug in the area (or Marianna if you go out there). That was the case as of 3 days ago when I was there anyway

Ginnie, Manatee and Jug.

The flow is down at Manatee so swimming there is not as bad as normal in terms of ripping flow and very few places to pull.

We are in a recession... the good kind. Water levels continue to drop on the Suwannee.

As often as I have been to Ivey Park (Branford, Fl), I never noticed this carved in the tree by the boat ramp. The locals call him "Old Man River". Way, way cool...
