Hi! I'm from the Philippines, I am looking for existing concrete artificial reef modules we can copy for our marine sanctuaries. We have existing A/R's we wish to share.

Tambalo,

Welcome aboard. Here is how you can find a wealth of info on artificial reef projects. Do Google searches on:

artificial reef
Malaysia artificial reef
Indonesia artificial reef
biorock
ecoreef

Here is an interesting website about a reef conservation organization in Sabah, Malaysia:
http://www.reef-guardian.org/

And here is the URL for "The Global Coral Reef Alliance":
http://globalcoral.org/index.html

Good luck with your project.

not much logged dives, I am an SSI open water since 1995. Diving mostly in Alabat and Balesin Islands, Quezon Prov, Philippines.
Rampant used of cynide for fishing has destroyed most of our natural reefs in the area. So we now look for artificial reefs as substitute. We have tried bamboo's, twigs, coconut leaves, tires, and concrete.
