Mako used Bauer pumps on their early compressors. That's a Bauer pump pictured I'm reasonably sure. The black housing is likely a coalesor unit. It may be relatively new as some generic towers are black. It appears the purification tower is on the left near the wall and gold in color. Both can be replaced with new generic towers. Small fire departments typically don't put a lot of hours on compressors. Some FDs do service them regularly and some don't. A bare filter tower is shown in image. To function property one would need a HP check valve in inlet, a HP gauge, a drain valve to release moisture and pressure from the tower and a back pressure maintaining valve to build pressure up to 1500-2000 PSI in tower before releasing the excess pressure downstream. This compresses air and help in removal of more moisture from the air molecules.
