I've just seen pictures of a Draeger SCBA breathing apparatus (for firefighters, not for diving) - it has a quick connect coupling that looks very similiar to Scubapro's Air II coupling. Are they basically the same, i.e. are they compatible?

(I'm aware that SCBA bottles are 300 bar and scuba bottles mostly 230 bar, but this is not the problem here.

Thansk for any suggestions.

There are a ton of similar looking connectors, and some might even fit, however even if the connector fits, it may be a special hose.

I'd be very wary about substituting OEM parts for "looks OK" parts for someone who is going to walk into a burning building.

flots.
