Compass Mounts for Black-Tip Scooters

Is there anybody out there who has both bought one of Patrick's mounts, and also has one of the Sea Rover kayak compasses, who might be able to opine on whether by screws or epoxy the latter might neatly be mounted to the former?

Patrick only recently shipped the first batch of compass mounts. I'm sure if you contact him on Facebook he can give you the definitive answer, he's extremely responsive. His mounts are held together by screws. I'm anxiously awaiting arrival of the compass mount from him
