Was in on 3/18 for a beach dive. trying out my new OS Systems O-Ring dry gloves. 34deg air - 37deg water. Nice and warm in my dry suit / 5mm hood / Bare T-100 Polar Ware undergarment. The Bare garment is the warmest thing I have ever owned. I use it for everything - Diving, Skiing, shoveling snow.... The thing is practically wind proof as well. There was a 20 mph wind and I was on the beach in only the Bare garment - still pretty warm as my buddy was icing up.

I thought John already was your pit crew? ;)

Dont drag me into this!! I'm trying to keep quiet for fear of the mitten biff....:D

I dove at Fort Adams on Saturday (03/25/06) and the temp was 41 F at a depth of 64'. Gotta think that the weather this week will be bringing that temp even higher soon! And BTW, the viz was pretty good too (> 10')!

Gidds~

You do know that there is a difference between 400g of fleece and 400g of Thinsulate?

Thinsulate is much warmer than fleece, I am always cold as well and I do fine in my undergarment. I hope to be in Brownstone this weekend with my drysuit.

I'm impressed with my T-100 in my 7mm Neoprene suit. Is your OS a shell?

Mmmm maybe neoprene would have been more cost effective?

Well that would be a good enough reason to not have it :)
