I just got back from another weekend at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park. It was again a beautiful dive trip. This trip we got to dive an old townsite that was flooded in 1912. Very cool. Just wondering if anyone has ever thought of cold water altitude diving as a great holiday. I do the warm water dives 2 to 3 times a year but the cool mountain lakes always feel a little more exciting to me. You can see pics of this lake on line. It would make a great holiday. Ice diving on the lake is also amazing.

Nice spot and have gone there on holidays....I just don't like driving all day. :(
