Hope it warms up a tad bit. I paid money to get out of the freakin cold for a week in Key Largo. Not so worried about the water temps since we usually take a chain saw here to get into the water.

My students elected to cancel class for today and I didn't argue one bit...It's 12:30 and only 50d outside ... Coldest weather since back in the early 90's...Come on summer!

Anyway y'all in the NE probably think I'm whining as you shovel out

Joe

I did my OW classes a year ago when it was 48 outside in Merrit Island. Yeah, it was cold. Walking to my truck in shorts and slightly damp T-shirt was a bit nippy, but sometimes you just have to suck it up! ;)

I called up Mr. Kofi Annan at the United Nations to file a Crime Against Humanity complaint due to this illegal cold weather.
We're just having a hard time getting it served though.

Dove Saturday morning before the blizzard. Water 37 F. air around 32.
Can't complain, been unusually warm with air in the high 40's until now. First dive this winter where my hands were colder before the dive then during the dive. Switched to mitts, worked well but found I couldn't count past 6...

I dumped ice from cooler last night on the lawn by the driveway. Got up this morning to get the paper and there was still some ice there, but I did not know it. Stepped on it with my bare foot. What a way to start the week!

A fella I work with, said that they're calling for snow. Who are "THEY" and why don't they HANG UP!!! STOP CALLING FOR IT!!! Good grief!!!

I had to wait for my truck to warm up this morning so I could get the ice off all the windows. Usually it's just left over frost, so you turn on the windshield washers and the wipers on high and it's gone. The dang fluid refroze on the windshield! That's not supposed to happen hear!!!
