Cold Couple of Nites in Florida

Bam...the cold front just came thru...On the beach in Cocoa Beach temps will fall below freezing for 2 nites straight...and I got a dive class tomorrow...guy keeps his pool at 90D!
Seven students but we still have to brave the cold winds...Oh well..hope my wet suit is dried from yesterday's class. They all have dried wet suits

Gee it's been a few days ince we've been above freezing. The ocean had been hanging in there at 40F, now it's going to get cold. And we still have some hearty souls going wet.

Teach them to deal with it. Cold weather/water diving, a new specialty.

It has been 50 and 60 degree all winter here in Misery, now when I get my new BC and scooter it drops into the 15 and 30 degree Oh, well 1 and half months till it starts to warm up here, hopefully sooner. Have fun with the class

Yeah... IT was REALLY cold down here in South Florida... It was only 65 degrees yesterday, and the water was only 70 - yikes---

Good thing I have a drysuit now...

Just make sure that it is nice and warm starting Thursday night. At least around Ginnie Springs. 75degree water, I think I will have to throw a bag of ice in my wet suit or I won't know how to act. Heat exhaustion in a skin.

My students elected to cancel class for today and I didn't argue one bit...It's 12:30 and only 50d outside ... Coldest weather since back in the early 90's...Come on summer!

Anyway y'all in the NE probably think I'm whining as you shovel out

Went out Saturday before the cold front made it this far South. Reached 75 degrees by noon with water temps about 71 degrees. Woke up to 53 and high winds Sunday morning not sure if they went out today, but getting in the water would warm you up.

you all suck! if I back rolled off the boat now, I split my skull on 12 inches of ice! LOL, headed to west palm beach on 2/27 and can't wait. I'll be the guy in a shortie when all the locals are in 6.5 mil 2 pieces LOL

well i hate to rub it in guys, but i am heading to Palau, Micronesia on friday! where it's hot, beautiful and the best diving in the world! i'll be thinking about you guys and your cold front. lol
