Another question-
For those of us who like the coil lanyard, how long should it be for a 48" gun? I've seen 8', 10', 12', 15', 20'. I've spent a couple hours looking for help online to no avail.

Any thoughts?

I got my coil lanyard, I shoot a 48 special and got a 17' coil, although I am not happy with it, I found that my shots suffer, I missed a lot of fish I should have killed. My range went from about 17 feet (of which I didn't take shots that far anyhow) to a range of maybe 8 feet which just isn't enough. I am considering going back to my stock line. Even though I know I killed a few fish I wouldn't have because of my faster reload time.
I have to take the trade off of being able to take longer shots or being able to take quick shots when I'm in a school.
