We just came in to catch the Carribean Explorer. We had to overnight in Exuma due to flights.
We chose to stay at the Coconut Cove. I can highly reccommend this place. The rooms were bright and clean, and the food is Exquisite. The food and drinks are a bit pricey but the tip is always included, which takes it up a bit, plus it is an island, so things are always a bit higher, so I don't think ther prices are out of line with the rest of the island. It is close to Georgetown, but a bit far to walk..

It is located on a beutifully scenic beach and has a wonderful view from the bar and restaurant. It was very quite last night, and it would appear that is a fairly normal situation as it is not in the downtown area where all the parties are. The town has a well stocked grocery store, and the harbor appears to be a safe place for a boat if you have one to use down here.
