Went through the thread quickly, so this might have been mentioned:

LDS = Local Dive Shop

Agree there are forums that tech discussions and initals may be appropriate; this is not one of them

I've been actively diving since 1983 and I have no idea what you are trying to say.

See even you are confused as an experience diver because you couldn't make sense out of those acronyms. Well don't worry! They are meaningless (at least most of them) and used as an example to show you experienced guys how we newbies feel while we read some of the posts. That's why I said "let me exaggerate" before I type those meaningless words.

---------------

And imagine if your fist language is not even English...

We're on the same ship buddy... English is my second language too...

Thanks for clearing that up :rofl3: Just kidding my friend :rofl3: I learned that after feeling really dumb for a while... well sometimes I still...well, nevermind;)

Again guys and gals, please read my post with a smile on your faces...:D

I just wanted to point out that something seems very obvious to you is not that obvious to many of us NEW and/or CONSIDERING divers.

Still, no matter how hard to decipher some of them, I want all of you to know that we REALLY APPRECIATE your enlightening posts.

You can't believe how many of us having "uh -huh" moments and things start to make sense for the first time after a looooong while reading some of your probably nonchalantly typed posts.

You're a great bunch !!!:cool2:

I figured, by now you knew what LDS meant!
Just in case someone else was reading this thread....... :rofl3:

BTW (in the spirit of this thread - BTW = "By the Way") - what is your 1st language?

The acronyms weren't the only problem nor are they the biggest problem.

Well, if you want to make it easy (Make what easy?) on you try (Why try? Why not just go DIR?) to go DIR or 3/4 (Why adopt ¾ of a system? If you're going to adopt a system, why not adopt the system?) BTC system (Bogus name, this doesn't exist.) but of course ADIC (Bogus name, this doesn't exist.) indicates that you must follow a SD (There isn't a San Diego rule.) or TK (Bogus name, this doesn't exist.) rule. The biggest problem with this sentence is it comes out of the blue, you are giving no indication as to what circumstances the rule would be implimented or why. In any case did you considered (Considered? Do you mean consider?) to talk (Do you mean talking?) to your DM at your LDS for a MTP or BTD (Bogus names, these don't exist.) setup?

This kind of reminds me of watching people use text messaging. The phrases lol, brb, ttyl, rofl, lmao, asl all come to mind. If you ask a person why they don't just write the whole phrase out they say it's quicker to shorten it because they are on a phone and usually trying to do something else in the process.

Now that people sit in front of a computer and have a full keyboard in front of them and don't type it out baffels me.

Some of us have dyslexic, sossage fingers and typing the whole enchalada can be difficult.

:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

I would if I could man . . I would if I could!

I know - I read your other post and it's why I chose that expression.;)
Hope your sinuses are better.
