Unless my anatomy is really off, the head is innervated by CRANIAL nerves. They exit through foramia in the base of the skull rather than through the vertabrae.

So I am rather skeptical about the article mentioned.

Just personal experience but my Chiropracter has been a god send for me. I need to travel about thirty miles into that other country to the south of us to get to him but...he starts with a diagnosis then I am hooked up to electro stim kinda thing for about 10 min with a heating pad over it. a lady comes in and removes the stuff and does this incredible industrial sander kind of massage thing alllll over my body..the Doc comes in does a very gentle (usually) adjustment and then he makes you walk for a half hour. Damn feels so good I am tempted to go even if I dont hurt. Now if only he could hire a blond a brunette .....oops different kind of establishment
