Chinchoro Atoll Over New Years'

My wife and I are planning a dive trip for the last week of December/first week of January and we are very interested in Mahahuala and the surrounding dive sites. We, of course, would love to be able to dive Chinchoro while we are there but I understand access is very weather related and this isn't a good time of the year. What do you think the odds of the weather cooperating over a 7-10 day trip this time of year is? If it isn't likely we will take another trip around June of next year and could save a visit to this area until then.

Any experienced feedback is appreciated.
