We had a great time diving over in Lake Michigan.

We ended up on the Wisconsin, the Seabird, and the Lady Elgin. It wasn't the schedule we were planning to dive. The thought was to go out and do the Wisconsin first. The tech divers on board could do one long deco dive and the rec divers could do two shorter dives. Well, that didn't work out as planned. I had planned on doing one long deco dive and getting lots of video. But do to circumstances on the boat, I ended up doing just a rec dive and getting some video. Because of the issues we had, our time on the site was longer than planned. To get rid of the little gremlins that were causing the problems I recommended a nice shallow wreck so everyone could dive. That ended up being the SeaBird. I think its in like 20 feet of water. It was an awesome wreck though and everyone was able to splash and enjoy some bottom time.

The next problem was that since our timing was messed up, we didn't have an opportunity to get back to the docks and switch out tanks. So with a full rec dive on the Wisconsin and a 50+ minute dive on the SeaBird, I was basically out of back gas. So there were a few on the boat that had a little gas left, so we finished off the day doing a quick dip on the Lady Elgin. Overall it was a great time. It was nice to see and dive with friends I hadn't seen in some time. Next time we will have to work on our planning a little better! :D
