This is the image I saw when Claudette grabbed my arm and squeezed it to get my attention... who knows how long he was there watching us

He comes over and gets closer

'Chica and Fishie swim together for 20+ minutes (until she has about 150# in the can...)

Fishie's had enough and swims off

Very cool picture -- And HBDG should be proud, the fish has more thing sticking out of it than she does!

AWESOME PIC ! Thanks for sharing.

Amazing shot!! Looks like I should have stayed another day.

It was sweetly surreal to be approached by a Giant Black Seabass in the sunlit waters of Casino Point...
and then followed and approached again...
and then stared at right up close...
and then to sense this magnificent fish invite us to hover with it over and over again, eyes searching eyes, fins and fins paralleling in neat synchrony.

And now... to see your marvellous photographs, Ken.

While we all basked in the joy of it, you framed image after image, each an emphatic reminder of 26 spectacular water-minutes with friends... and The Fish :D .

Thank you for the memories and these beautiful images.

Awesome pics! Just Awesome!

It brings me back to last year at the park, first dive in Ca for my good friend, one as big as she was followed just us, and no other divers, around for our entire dive, just like a puppy :D was the coolest thing ever!
We talked to DrBill and he said that he thought that it was because the GSB was "smitten" with my friend ... no, really :)

Was the most awesome dive I have ever done, and thank you for bringing that all back for me

Oh, the original black and white was lovely, but the new pictures SO tell the story . . . An amazing dive!

Lest we forget, Josh was with Claudette and I on the dive of dives. After hovering around with Claudette for a bit, he came over to check out Josh. A few minutes of circling Josh and he went back to Claudette for the rest of the dive.

Sorry, man. But He just liked Claudette better. :mooner:

"hmmm... who's this diver? Anything interesting here?

"Nothing interesting here - I'm going back to the chick..."

One of the most important things I learned from this dive: Being on the sidelines when you could be in the game is never a good choice.
  • Sit on the shore... or have the dive of your life?
  • Throw back a drink... or drink in the moment?
  • Skip the last dive of the day... or go in one more time and never forget it?
To the people in our group who missed this amazing 56 minutes, I'm very sad for you. :(

Make the friggen dive and sleep on the boat on the way home.
