OK, so I got around to checking out the CHDK hack with my A620. Pretty cool indeed!

So, now the question is, what software should I use to work with the RAW files. I'm using a Macbook Pro. I have PS 7, but I see that the Raw plug-in for that was $99 - when it was available. Are there any other options for using PS 7 to work with raw images from my A620?

If not, what's the cost effective starting point for dabbling in Raw?

I also us a Nikon D-80, so if I need to buy a new software package, it'd be nice if I could use it for both cameras.

Thanks

not sure about MAC, but I was using DNG for Powershot 2 (or DNG4PS), and also Raw Therapee. I used then to convert the RAW to a DNG file, then use photoshop. Not sure what is out there for MAC...

I do, however, use CS3.
