SteveC:
Does John ever post on Scuba board?

I've never seen him post here. But I doubt he does. If he posted here I'm sure he'd get totally swamped with PM's, questions, requests for club visits, etc. It's not that I don't think that he wouldn't want to reply to any of that, but I'm sure he just doesn't have time to respond to everthing.

He does post some on the Deep Sea Detectives message board on the History channel website. (or he did last year). He would even answer folks questions.

From what I hear he's a pretty easy going guy and hasn't let any of this stardom go to his head.

I worked with the DSD crew on a show last year and got to meet John and Richie. I can tell you, every free minute they had during the day, they were on they're laptops checking and replying to the threads on the DSD website.

They were both great guys and I'm really glad I had the chance to meet them.

Thanks for the link.....look forward to the airing of the program.

I doubt he does because he doesn't want to get in on a MOF debate:)

I doubt it...They are great guys no doubt, but they didn't make frequent replies to the DSD Board. Not being critical because at least they did reply...just not as frequently as it would seem your post conveys...

He has before on DecoStop.

I've not seem him post on here before either. That's why I posted the link to the thread at BOC. According to the owner of BOC (who has both dived and talked to him on the phone), John is of course very busy but is going to make the time to post about the Britannic dive on the BOC site. Pretty neat. From what I hear, Ritchie may also chime in on the discussion since he is a member of BOC also. It will be interesting to watch the thread grow.

Just wanted you guys to know....yesterday afternoon I dropped John an e-mail and just this morning he kindly gave a short reply,,,,he is a very approachable fellow.

Hello all.
Yes they are both great guys! I own Divers Discount Network (www.brethrenofthecoast.net) and dove with them in September.
They are VERY busy right now so the fact that JC answerred in a day shows how dedicated he is to fans/friends.
We are doing an ice dive with them in January in Michigan for their Dive Portal production. Very slick CD.
We'll have it available at our site soon. Also I think they *may* have got enough footage from their Britannic dive for the History channel special too...from what I hear.
