Chat Room Link Issues

1) When I first come to the website and click on chat I get a bad URL page. If I click on forum and then click chat it works.

2) The chat window looks horrible on I.E. You can't resize the controls correctly. Firefox is fine. I know I know... but seriously? (We'll leave that argument for Slashdot! )

3) When I do a search, I haven't been able to locate the ability to return the results as posts instead of threads. This makes it hard trying to figure out the context and location of posts within threads for what you are searching.

I'm assuming you want support with these observations? I have some questions, as well as answers.

1) What browser are you using when you do that? Which link are you clicking on?

2) The Chat window is a purchased add-on product, not hosted on SB, I can't make any changes to it, so you'll have to live with it.

3) You need to do "Advanced Search" you also want to search for "Single Content Type" Search Forums - ScubaBoard this gives you the option to view just posts.

It was more feedback then a request for "support". But here's more:

For #1 -- goto www.scubaboard.com and it redirects you to ScubaBoard - ScubaBoard Home
Click the "CHAT" menu item and it creates a popup for ScubaBoard - Page Not Found&

You then get an error message that says Page Not Found ... Invalid Route Requested

If you then click on the FORUM menu item it takes you to http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/forum.php
Now if you click on the CHAT menu item it creates the same popup but it works.

For #2 .. hmmm... won't go there.

For #3 ... I'll try that out.

Which link? It's probably due to the fact that the Chat room is a popup. Try bookmarking the link http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/addonchat.php

and going there directly.

The link you're posting is this http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/content/addonchat.php which doesn't exist, and I can't find where you're finding it. The page is at http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/addonchat.php If you can post a screen shot of the link you're clicking on, I can look further at this. However, I am unable to locate the link you refer to. Have you tried clearing your cache and tossing cookies?
