Texdiveguy:

You're probably not going to be able to find out any goods/bads because we just started. If you're interested in finding out more information, you can call us at 832-385-4603. If you're interested in personal references, you can contact Jeff Gordon at Maximum Scuba or EK Sowell at the Diver's Depot.

The boat is USCG documented for coastwise charter operation. It has all the normal safety gear and electronics including a lifefloat, EPIRB, O2, RIB, radar, VHF, chartplotter etc. We have commercial diveboat insurance through Witherspoon and professional liability and equipment insurance through Vicencia & Buckley.

We would also be happy to give you a tour of the boat anytime.

What are the anticipated water depths for the rigs you can comfortably reach?

How far in advance can you make the go no go call?

Thanks,

TwoBit

Thanks....that answered that.

Best of luck with the venture.

Keep us posted when you do decide to allow o/w technical divers......or offer 'Blue Water' diving.

The water out of Freeport become deep faster than other locations such as Galveston. 20-30 miles out, you are in over 100 feet of water.

Sorry about the no alcohol policy. A lot of people have expressed dissatisfaction with that, but we are not interested in the associated liability issues on board the boat. The swim up bar is across the parking lot.

I could care less about alcohol, but let us know when you will charter deeper diving off the rigs. I think you would have quite a few of us interested.

Well, that's not quite about the alcohol, but it's not a deal breaker in my book.

You might want to revise the text on your website for future viewers.
"Starting in March 2010, experience the thill of offshore gulf diving in the comfort and safety of a 34ft twin engine enclosed cabin offshore cruiser operated by PADI certified scuba instructors."

Shouldn't that be "thrill"?

Best of success with you business.
