Hey guys......
As you all know I live here and the advice is correct. Let me tell you 'HOWIE DO IT"...(lol)
1. make sure the appliance is 50/60 cycles if you are going to use it long term on Bonaire. If not it will burn out in 2 months.
2. definitely bring a surcharge protector, it fluctuates a lot on the island and you wouldn't even know it.
3. yes items to get hot very fast when charging. We recommend that you do not leave your items plugged in and charging for more than 3 hours at a time. they will be fully charged within that timeframe.
4. hair dryers, well you or whoever uses it will find out after the 2nd day you may not want to bother with one. second, ALWAYS use your hair dryer on the low setting. most hair dryers have a safety that if they get too hot they shut off automatically. they do get very hot on high settings, so we always recommend low setting. they are the one appliance that seems most sensitive to the 50/60 cycle current thing.
5. ENJOY BONAIRE!!
