PADI Divemaster - all of my training for recreational diving was through PADI. I will continue with PADI to obtain my Master Diver rating and gain more experience. Should I decide to move outside the boundries of recreational diving there a several agencies I would take a look at. I don't think it's so much the agency that trains the better divers it's the individual. You only get out of it what you put into it. Continuing education is the key IMO.

I will be OW certified in two weeks by Stan Hormell my instructor who happens to be a PADI INSTRUCTOR and a hell of a guy not to mention a great instructor.!!;)

Gas?

Lawman once bubbled...

nobody else got trained thru Ed' Dive & Drive.
It's a combination diving and truck driving
school located in Detroit. I'm doing a PADI
crossover right now that will give me a
license to drive 18 wheelers and teach
SCUBA Truck Driving as a specialty.

neil once bubbled...

With that certification, what kind of gas are you qualified to use in the truck? :)

Nitrus Oxide? (Wheeeee!!) =-)

-----------

I mostly have PADI certs... A few TDI (nitrox, adv. nitrox & deco)

Recently got SDI divemaster and only need a few minutes pool time to do the 400M swim to complete PADI divemaster (not as easy to get pool time as one might think due to my very odd schedule...).

I'm Naui OW, AOW, R&S, and Master Diver....
Now a SSI DiveCon and working towards my Padi Divemaster...

Started with the Dutch NOB (Cmas) and crossed over to Padi in order to work prof. in the sport.

Keep wet

NAUI, but I will dive with almost anyone that has been trained and will dive safely.

While there are more than a few agencies to choose from these days, I must admit to starting with PADI years ago (25 but who's counting), trying several others since (TDI, SSI and NAUI), and I now find myself back with PADI doing the DSAT course. Who would have thought?
