Now i know, looks like a good program. I like the minimum number of dives required before they give up advanced & rescue cards

:(

Didn't anyone else get certified thru
Eds' Dive and Drive School?

:madelf:
I guess that makes me number three for ACUC. The chief instructor for the Dive Club I belong to is the senior ACUC instuctor for Atlantic Canada.
The website for ACUC's North American Operations is : http://www.acuc.ca

nobody else got trained thru Ed' Dive & Drive.
It's a combination diving and truck driving
school located in Detroit. I'm doing a PADI
crossover right now that will give me a
license to drive 18 wheelers and teach
SCUBA Truck Driving as a specialty.:)

With that certification, what kind of gas are you qualified to use in the truck? :)

across this thread/poll. Given what is my perception that this board is heavily weighted toward the tech/dir mindset, I am a little surprised at the relatively low percentage of respondents that were certified by either GUE or TDI.

I would have though it'd be higher.

Don't take it wrong. I'm new to the DIR thing, but agree completely with the fundamental concepts.

Hate to rain on your poll, but it just doesn't reflect what you want it to.
For example, I hold anywhere from 6 cards from one agency down to one card from several, but when I vote I can only vote once for each agency - so my PADI vote (1 dinky card - MFA) has the same weight as my IANTD vote (6 advanced cards).

It is interesting that TDI and IANTD are exactly the same. I would have thought IANTD would have more, as they have been around longer....i wonder if TDI is catching up.
