Hi everyone!

I have done what a lot of new divers probably do... waited way to long to do the next dive. Summer 2012 I got my PADI certification in Greece while on vacation. I loved it, but then came back to school in Texas and neglected to schedule anything else. I still have my handbook and will be doing some major reviewing before diving again, but am looking for advice on where I should go as a beginner diver.

Looking for somewhere PADI certified, need instructors/other divers to go with me. If possible would like to not have to pay for a "refresher" course.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
Bridget

A refresher course is really what you need. My LDS only charges $50 for the refresher including pool time and equipment. Find something in your area. It will be worth the cost.

Most refresher courses are inexpensive and would be well worth it given the time away from the sport - you will be refreshed on skills and equipment set up that divers on a fun dive will expect of you. After that join up with a local club or grab some divers from your local LDS and hit Blue Lagoon for some fun dives.

Agree with the prior posts. Get a refresher course and then do some local diving. A dive club is a great way to meet other divers and grow your skills.
