Florida Dive Company is a dive shop located in Orange City Florida offering PADI & SDI/TDI Certifications. We are centrally located to multiple State Parks that allow Scuba Diving and Freediving. Currently we are expanding our operations to better serve the Freediving community and are looking for someone to join our diving and sales team. We have an immediate opening for a Freediving Instructor.

Job Requirements:

• Preferred applicant will be PADI or PFI (Performance Freediving International) Freediving Instructor or willing to crossover.

• Preferred applicant will hold First Aid & CPR Instructor certification. At a minimum hold First Aid & CPR Certification.
• Applicants must be dependable, safety oriented, family-friendly, punctual, and customer service oriented.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a drug test - we are a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Lead all Freediving Certification Classes
• Lead Freediving Guides
• Provide customer feedback to the Dive Shop Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills:

• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Basic math skills
• Track record of customer service satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree
• Must be willing and able to work in a collaborative setting with a diverse group of internal and external customers and vendors.
• Must be available to travel to and assist at multiple dive locations.
