I like to take pictures on dives, but I definitely did not take one into the cavern b/c I wanted to completely focus on trim and navigation. As it happened there is an experienced photographer who dives in the frequently visited cenotes (mostly shooting from the open water zone where the light is good and shots are still amazing) and takes photos and videos you can purchase. I bought them and was glad that I did. They were spectacular. After the dive when they offer you the video, ask to see them but act like you're not really interested and then bargain. You can get the price down. (Helps if you speak Spanish).
