Cedar Point Area Diving??

It looks like I'll be taking my family to Cedar Point for a few days in July this year. Amusement parks are not high on my list of favorite places however I noticed a big lake Erie right next door. I'm sure I could get away for part of a day to dive.

In this regard, any suggestions on where to dive in the northern Ohio area??

portage quarry is nice as wellas whitestar, both are not too far. plenty of wrecks, also look into the islands ive been told the vis therrre is good duw to all the lime stone., i plan on diving there this summer

Might check with Scuba Recovery out of Port Clinton. I haven't dove with them but friends have and recommend him. It's www.scubarecovery.com. He also has posted on his site a list of wrecks in the western basin of Lake Erie.

They are very friendly and will try to get you someone (local) to with.
They are just West of the Bridge in P.C on the North Side.
