I "love it" when the people that say "I don't need CCR cave" come into town and silt the crap out of Orange Grove by crashing into the clay with their poor buoyancy and skills.

By love it I really mean I hate it.
This is why we tend to dive in zero-vis shitholes…..no one knows if I’m on the ceiling or trying to bury myself in the floor, or just merrily bouncing between the two.

Old guys said **** it I'm not taking it
Indeed. I dove Ginnie many a time on my rebreather, so was surprised when they added it as a requirement. I just don't do Ginnie anymore, which sucks because I live close and used to have a year pass there.

So I don't disagree with you but i did end up taking a ccr cave class and i actually got a lot out of it (gas/thermal planning). While I don't think think it should be a requirement (al la gennie) it is a good class to have with respect to gas planning and general cave diving.

The lawyers are responsible for Ginnie requiring CCR Cave. Lawyers in this country are a plague. We desperately need tort reform.

I like your style. :D

I don't disagree with this, but I'm about as conservative as they come. My dives are for relaxation, not to push any boundaries. I always carry way too much bailout.
