We are thinking about switching our annual thanksgiving dive trip from Coz to Gr. Cayman. We love diving the North Wall, but were wondering what the conditions generally are like in late November (we usually go to GC in late August). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I was there in mid November last year. The conditions were excellent. Only one day had rain. The rest of the days were sunny and the ocean like glass.

Have fun.

It's transition time for the winds. You might get to dive North Wall during that time, and there's about equl chance it will be blown out and you'll have to dive elsewhere.

As Drew points out November is kind of the turning point in the weather patterns from our "summer" (or hurricane season) conditions to our winter weather patterns. For this reason November is a very unpredictable month.
It's impossible to give you odds for November, you may be lucky or you may have 6-8 ft waves for a week but if you really love the North wall then the best time to come is June, July or August.
