The speculation about IPE was brought up by CFS in post #5. I updated the synopsis post to reflect that (note the "last edited by" tag at the bottom of my post), and to provide informative links before the inevitable "what is IPE?" questions derail the thread.
Glad everyone made it out. Scary stuff I would imagine. A great buddy is priceless...
