You have me by a year. In August will be 53 and after a year plus with my new eyes I now have 20/10 using both eyes. Just got back from a marathon drive to and from Cozumel with 2 1/2 days of diving thrown in for fun. I had much rather fly for 3 hours than drive for 43 hours.
Will be in the pool this weekend with eight students and next weekend in Florida with about 20 students doing OW and AOW certificiations. One thing with cataract surgery is that you will find reading glasses mandatory if you're not already using them.
I have to use readers on the surface but with the water magnifying everything about 25 percent I can see my computer and camera controls with no problem.
