Hello everyone,

I finished editing some video I shot at Catalina on May 28th on a Reef Seeker's charter with the Magician Dive boat.

I got some really cool shots of kelp with the bright sun overhead. Vis was 20 feet or so.

We saw a few Bat Rays, a Round Ray, a small Horn Shark, A huge Sheep Crab, lots of Bad-Boy Garibaldi's defending eggs, A moray that wouldn't come out of his hole and more of the regular critters.

It's 6:40 minutes long, about 18mb in size, and is a Windows Media Player formatted AVI file.

this is great..........is this only one dive?

Thanks, to answer your question... No, it was two dives at the same location. Little Geiger Cove (actually it was between Big and Little Geiger). The first dive was to the port side of the dive boat (east), the next dive we went to the starboard (west). Kelp was ultra thick!

when's your DVD gonna be ready, [dude it's almost July ]?

I know, I know, it was almost done and then EncoreDVD decided to thrash my original file and I lost all the programming for the DVD, I still have the artwork and videos for the DVD, but need to spend a few days putting it all together again. Now that I have a few new videos (like this one) it will be better than it would have been. It will have a "play all" button. I got a new job (Symantec Corp in Santa Monica) and it is keeping me really busy, hopefully I can get some work done on the DVD soon. I will PM you when it is finished.

Great job Mike!!! Great editing too!

Thanks!
