Thanks for all the replies.

Are boat dives usually so expensive on Catalina - I was quote $110 for a two tank dive.
I dived a Sunday on the King Neptune last year, and it was $110 for 3 dives. Did both dive boats in Avalon quote you similar prices?

With some 1,200 dives in the Casino Point Dive Park alone, I still find things to see there. It has a lot of diversity for those who look closely.

Hey Doc, are you for rent? (as in a guide) I'm still planning to go there end of April. Maybe I can pay for a months worth of Cable?:D

$110 is Scuba Luv's price for a three tank non-guided or a two tank guided dive on the boat.

I should be here in April unless I head to Florida to spend some time with my mother. I'm not a dive pro (no DM or instructor cert) and can't be had for any price, but if I'm around and the boat isn't going out I may be able to do a few dives with ScubaBoard folks who are visiting. When I'm on the boat, I often dive too deep to take anyone with me... I'm gathering footage for my "deep ecology" TV show.
