Enzyme based cleaners are the best. That is what's used in crime scenes.

And what people use to get bad odors out of fabric/seats etc...

pipedope:
And get an enzyme cleaner.
Nature's Miracle is one brand but is usually the most expensive.
All of them work.
Pipedope nailed it, an enzyme cleaner sold at pet stores is your best bet because it's designed to eat the stuff.

Roak

I'm surprised nobody suggested daily, 1 hour soakings in saltwater, preferably at depth. Repeat, repeat, repeat as necessary.

The enzyme cleaner is probably more effective, even if not as enjoyable as just diving it.

crpntr133:
good luck!! I have a bag that has been peed on and it still has the odor.
I think my cure would be to just shoot the cat...here kitty kitty.

Yep.

Motorcycle helmet, three years ago...most of the time I don't notice it, but every once and a while I still catch the faintest whiff. If I weren't so darned cheap I'd buy a new one. The cat and I now have an understanding. Come in the garage, get blasted with super soaker.

I've tried all the store bought enzymes and neutralizers. Nothing works as well as plain white vinegar.

Not that it's the same however my Boxer thought a local skunk was a play toy....for like ten minutes after getting sprayed. Skunk is pretty foul and pretty long lasting and the answer to that was baking soda (yeah that stuff you put in your ice box) and hydrogen peroxide (you might want to spot check the BC with the HP before drowning it though us girls do use it to lighten our hair :cheering:

I don't know what to use on the BC..I'd use Cyanide on the Cat.. :11:

Sorry, I'm a Dog Person...
