Anyone free this weekend and interested in hitting Casino Point? I'm antsy to get some nice viz. before heading off to La Paz. Anyone game - early 6:15 am boat over and 6ish PM boat back? Who's game?

Not sure if I'll be there or not. I haven't dived the park in a month since Scuba Luv lets me on the King Neptune to dive other sites. However one of my buddies has a birthday party that night so I just might hit the park to ensure I can get showered in time for the party.

I'm in L.A. on business and have a weekend free to do whatever I want. No hard decision there, go meet some of the Kelpers and dive @ Casino Point!

I decided not to go diving today so I could edit footage and archive clips. Good decision... as expected, the runoff from yesterday's rains were still carrying sediment into the waters around Catalina. Everything should be fine by this weekend though!

For those who haven't been out in a while, the temps have dropped a bit. Last weekend I got a min temp of 58 degrees vs 70 at the same depth 2-3 weeks ago. Downright chilly. But of course I'm still diving in my "religious wetsuit," the "holy" Seaquest now missing both legs and the crotch (I always dreamed of a wetsuit with an automatic pee valve)!
