The one thing I thought was the coolest was the wall diving off of San Salvador Island. I saw 3 hammerheads cruising along the walls, there. That was the first time I had ever seen a hammerhead or any shark, fully in the wild before (been on shark feeding dives). We had a father/ son team who saw & filmed dozens of them! If you get a chance to check out the "North Pole", it's really cool. It is a large vertical swim through (like a chimney- hence the name "North Pole"). It starts at on the top of the reef at about 70ft drops down to about 100ft where it splits open on the side & you can swim out. The shaft & split goes to about 150ft deep total. Also at a dive site called "Telephone Pole" there is a memorial in the sand (about 30ft) dedicated to the landing of Christopher Columbus. That's kind of neat to see. when I went last spring there seemed to be lots of reef fish & such to see. Hopefully you'll see as much or more.
By the way, last week was my turn to catch the flu. I'm just now starting to get my voice back after having laryngitis for a week.
