I signed up for a boat dive out of Monterey to Carmel this Saturday, and my regular dive buddies can't make it. Both have lame reasons not to dive - one's wife is expecting, and the other is looking for wedding sites with his fiancee. Excuses! 
See Silver Prince Charters for details, cost is $100 and it leaves at 9AM on 3/12 for Carmel. I have dived this boat before and they're awesome and fun, and bake fresh cookies. Anyone interested in joining me?
I'm a relatively new diver (1 year) but have taken Advanced Open Water training and I'm strong on buoyancy skills. I'm meticulous about equipment and safety, and my diving style is conservative.
This trip will be my first dive with Nitrox, but I'm mostly looking just to log experience so no problem if you're diving air.
