Caribbean Club Bonaire or Den Laman?

Trying to keep to under $1400 pp per week (lodging, diving, truck, Nitrox) since we are going for 2 full weeks.

FYI, I've gone to Bonaire in December the last couple of years. For lodging/truck/diving (incl. nitrox), our group paid about $425 per person. We didn't stay in a place on the beach, but each cottage did have a kitchen. There was also a nice lockable gear closet right outside our front door. It is possible to do Bonaire economically.

I've stayed at the Caribbean Club..(not in the honeymoon suite, didnt even know that there was one)! It was horrible. we will never stay there again. This year will be my 7th time on the island. Plaza resort is nice. I 've stayed at BUDDY's alot. It's a nice relaxing place and very friendly.
