What a GREAT operation.

My wife and I scheduled our AOW with Captain Hook's. We arrived in the Keys on the 17th, and bad weather followed right behind us.

Our AOW was scheduled to start the 18th, but early that morning the winds were gusting hard. The wind stayed most of the week. By Thursday we had slight break. Hilary who had set everything up came in on her day off to give our instructor Doug a hand. Bret, Hilary, and Brent (our Captain) were determined no matter what to get our AOW completed. They went way out of there way to make this happen.

Thursday we did 2 of our dives, and on Saturday we finished off with 3. We did 2 dives on the Thunderbolt, and another shallow reef Saturday.

On Thursday Doug had another class scheduled, but still managed to get us in with the help of Hilary. Saturday Brent, and Doug took us out by ourselves. There were no others on the boat.

I cannot give enough thanks to Hilary (our new best friend), Doug (best instructor ever), and Brent (wild man). Thank you...Now some pics.

I'd like to have seen more of the Thunderbolt. Missed diving it last year when the weather turned rough. Maybe this year. Glad you made your AOW.

I agree! GREAT operation! I only used them once this trip, but they are top notch and bend over backwards to help you! Hilary is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, as is Doug. I've now known them for three years and will always attempt to get at least one trip with them whenever I'm down here.

Thanks for the report! (and congrats on the AOW)

Jay!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I was really disappointed that I wasn't able to dive with you guys on the T-Bolt!!! But our two dives we had were amazing so I won't complain with what I was given! Hopefully I will be seeing you guys in the near future... Don't wait acouple years for the next vacation

Take care guys!!!

I agree!! I have been on many, many dives with Captain Hooks in Marathon Florida (Keys) and have had the extreme pleasure of dealing with and diving with Hilary and she is simply a joy to know and a very hard working young lady.

If you want great diving the middle keys is fantastic, if you want a great dive operation go to Hooks and if you want to make sure everything is done right, call Hilary.

Thanks Hil, hope to see you real soon!!
