Hi,

I have a Sartek LED6600C as my primary. It's a pretty nice light, but my gripe about it is that in canister light mode, the LED is a PITA to twist to turn the light on with wet gloves. I do have some problems with it even with my dry bare hands.

I'm thinking about taking a bicycle inner tube, wrapping a strip around the LED head and a strip around the LED body and then holding it in place with either a velcro tie or a plastic zip tie. I'm wondering if this would present any problems (i.e. inner tube/velcro/plastic ties developing mold, etc). If so, is there something else I should consider?

I dive in the cold shores of northern California mainly and will rinse off and air dry my light after diving.

TIA

matt
