Vis usually tops out at about 3 feet and the boat and jet ski drivers haven't a clue what a dive flag is. if you go, dive with extreme caution.

Thanks Flee Dog. We actually went to Dykes Point yesterday. Here's the answer for any one else interested. It has been raining so I'm not sure if that effects the water but the vis was non existent! We got down to 30 feet and it was totally black - so dark that both of us hit bottom because we couldn't see it. Unless you like to dive in a total black out - diving here is not a good idea.

Afterwards we kayaked in Squantz Pond and from the surface the water there looked much better - maybe some day we will try here and let you know how it went - problem is there is a $15 entrance fee and I would hate to dive for only 5 minutes like we did at Dykes Point.
