Let me start by saying that Mayan Aqua Dive (MAD) is an exceptional dive operation. We were in Cancun March 13 thru 20 2010. After looking at all of the dive companies' websites, and the TripAdvisor reviews, we decided on MAD, which was the only highly recommended dive operation that offered an easy afternoon dive; Very well deserved 5 star ratings.
JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE-WELL DESERVED
We sent an e-mail to Mayan Qua Dive Center to find out the details, and Carl was very prompt with all correspondence. They sent a van to our hotel to pick us up, and after about a 10 minute ride we were at their beach site. We met Carl and his staff, after completing the necessary paperwork we started our pool refresher, since we only dive once a year I had requested it. It was an enjoyable experience doing this refresher with my 14 year old son with Mayan Aqua Dive.. From the start of our pool refresher, through our open water dives, night dive, and Cenote dives I felt safe with my son and the entire staff.
The crew was very friendly and helpful with both the equipment and ingress/egress from the boat (especially important in some windy conditions).
Overall MAD exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed our dive experience.
I would recommend anyone who wishes to have a safe and enjoyable experience to dive with Mayan Qua Dive in Cancun.
