Hello, my girlfriend and I are going to Cancun in September and we are looking for a good dive shop to go with. We will be staying at the Westin Hotel and we would like to do some drift, wall, night and deep diving and a day off Palancar caves off Cozumel. Any recommendations for a shop to dive with. Thank you

Pickup and delivery no problemo, if you are interested in a night downtown, they are great party guys, as well.

My wife and I dive with Alvaro from AlwaysDiving.com when we're in Cancun.
You cannot go wrong with either of these. Both dive all over Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Cozumel andthe cenotes.

Yeah, but I think only Aquaworld offers it. I think snuba and scuba bob are the same thing. If you can handle the cattle boats, that would be the spot.
Sighhh...the things we do for our children. I have an 8 year old only child wannabe diver in the worst way who did Bubble-maker in Curacao last November followed by the dolphin encounter dive in the lagoon and a very shallow reef dive with the instructor. We are going to Sint Maarten in a few weeks and the Cancun for my birthday over Thanksgiving. I'm trying to find places where she can be part of the whole Mom and Dad are dedicated divers, rather than being left back at the hotel 1/2 the day with the sitter for most of the trip. I cant wait for her to be 10!

My wife and I dove with Manta Divers when we where there in April and have nothing to say but great things about our experience with them. They are very easy to work with and their dive master CJ is great. They are located across the street from the Royal Sands.

Frostfire, drop an email to Scorpio Divers. They will probably have some shallow spots mapped if you want your daughter to dive with you. Ben is very good with young people and he has certified all my kids. Very good instructor, too!

We're going to Playa del Carmen for a quick trip in November, and want to get a dive or two in while we're there. We found Tank Ha dive shop, which operates directly out of Playa for Cozumel wall dives (our goal). It sounds ideal in terms of ground transportation . . . but then we found a scathing review on TripAdvisor which has us wondering. Does anybody know this outfit? Anybody suggest the best way to dive from Playa for the wall?
