It's probably more a case of "hassle factor" over using the post office - Darren is operating on a very small scale. Where in Asia are you?

Hassle? Erm.. never thought of that coz he still have to visit the post office to ship his stuffs to US, right? Not sure... perhaps the customs is giving him a hard time...

You're probably aware of http://www.halcyonsingapore.com.sg/ then - you could get Scouts instead, although I'd hate to guess at their cost in singapore dollars after being imported.

But like everyone else, I like CE's prices & the additional reassurance that is it double o-ring sealed

FYI, Scout lights are retailing for approximately US$100 (listed on the web) here.

The thing about shopping in Singapore is almost everything is cheaper here compared to elsewhere, e.g. US, Europe. But Halcyon stuffs follows their Fair Trade Pricing, so prices is fixed ;-0
