AL plate, 2 lb canister on right waist strap, 2 lbs lead of left. Heavy fins. Drysuit, hood, double fleece/wool gloves and and double wool socks, in 47 to 52 degree fresh water.

I need 18 lbs with my drysuit and thick undergarments. My weights are distributed as follow:
1) 6 lbs is the back plate
2) 4 lbs on a rubber belt
3) rest on cam band / canister light

Santi BZ400 and Santi e-motion
Kit: twin 12 steel tanks with steel backplate
Freshwater: 2kg v-weight
saltwater: add 2kgs on a weight belt

combination of steel plate, weighted STA, and a weight belt. getting it located correctly on my body for static trim is as important as ditchable vs non-ditchable

Total weight with plate/wing around 115lb. I am 160lb, it keeps me fit.
