CODMAN:
Also, I sure wouldn't risk crossing an international border whith anything forbiden ( Turkey!:rofl3: ), especially to countries where human rights are reputed to not always be fully respected!

The worst that Customs will do is "almost" burn it and then have to eat it. :14:

Local culture from Roatan- in terms of food? Happy Thanksgiving with your rice and beans. :eyebrow:

But... I hear you.

I wouldn't try bringing anything that I wasn't willing to give the customs inspector.....

Speaking of which... Will, do you have any requests for us to bring down in May?

I'm totally down for the baliata lady next to Coconut Tree for a quick lunch, but Thanksgiving is gospel.

Because of my holiday schedule, I often travel during Thanksgiving and I always manage to have turkey - except in Buenos Aires - but then it was Cabanas los Lilas (a fair trade, IMO). If I want a slice o' Americana for one day and have found a way to get it (thanks Will!) don't be playa' hatin'.

And RoatanMan is right about the beans and rice - I'm much safer with my Plan B. Oh, and if you will be in Roatan on Thanksgiving -- we may have enough to share.
