We are a couple of new divers (awesome father/son team), and we would love to watch a couple of you pros do your thing with the lobsters(and maybe do a little spotting for you as well). No license in hand yet, but by the time you post friendly reply, it probably will be. We would go North to Rockport or South towards Marshfield, and won't get in the way (we'll bring our own dive flag so when you indicate "get lost now" we can wander off as indicated).

I don't claim to know the "right" way to do it but I have pretty good luck doing it my "way". My only weekend dive days are Sundays but I can go during the week with proper day care arrangments.

Another father/son team huh? I dive with my dad alot (I'm 25, he's....well older).

Although we're kinda into the "wreck thing" now and I do most of my lobstering with free dive gear, I'd be glad to take you guys out for bugs sometime.

We live on the South Shore so Brant Rock in Marshfield is a pretty easy spot to get the ropes down. We go to cape ann alot too. Also, if you every want to do a practice/night dive - we try to get in a dive a week or so down on the cape in Hathway pond, good training spot.

BTW, as a father son dive team are you getting hit with alot "hope you aren't like the Rouses" jokes, in refernece to the father and son that died exploring the U-who off NJ and were made famous by the book "The Last Dive".......we get that crap all the time
