Mo2vation once bubbled...
I have 16# in the ACB (per side). Would the Canister light clip to the outside of the ACB? There's lose (not lose-lose, maybe better: available) webbing...how do these fasten to the belt? Clip, slot?

Sorry to be such a Mel, but its hard to visualize some of this stuff.

Thanks again.

I now return you to bashing O-Ring's V2

One of the acb's has a connection on it for can. lights, I'm not sure which, but they say to use that to connect the light.

Why so much weight?

Hmmm. Didn't think it was so much.

I was 16 in 7mm and my Balance BC. I was diving 20 with by Fluffy Black Diamond BC and the Drysuit (HP100 PST). Went to the BP, and now dive 16 + 6 (plate) = 22.

20 was OK - at the start I needed to give a good push to get to about 10 - 12 feet, then I'd drop. I added a couple to help stabilize at the end when I was generally struggling to stay neutral at 10'.

I need to take another check now that it's been about 15 or 20 on the drysuit to be sure I'm OK. Its great to actually dump the BC and drop for a change.

hehe, check your first post about weight, you said 16# per side, that would be 32 total plus bp= A LOT.

That would be spooky. 16 per SIDE.... yikes. Maybe if I was diving around like StayPuft Marshmallow man or something.

Y'all got me thinking about this light thing... And I hate it when I get to thinking.

I need to stew on this for a bit. Integrating the divelight into the rig so its on (virtually) every dive makes very good sense, as it removes the hassle factor that generally motivates leaving it on the boat.

Dude, it NEVER stops...every time I think I am done, it's one more thing...

BTW - SPG in the house.

I didn't know this OMS SPG was a "you build 'em" affiar.

I presume I take the flambus and insert the thingie, then grab the hose and sort of screw it on over the thingie onto the SPG (after a thorough lubing with O2 compatable spit) to about 14 Newton CM?

Maybe that's for another thread or two or six...

That flambus is an air spool and you just lube it a little, stick it in the SPG, and then screw it onto the hose.

Hope your next date goes this well...

And does that lube need to be 02 clean? Or just O2 compatible?;)
