Can someone tell me the name of this bungee/shock cord knot? [picture]

this is actually my computer, but someone else tied the knots and I’m not sure what type they are. I plan on replacing the cord and using the same knot, as it’s worked out really well for me.

That's just an overhand knot with a half-hitch.

I would use a figure-8 knot, as it still holds but is easier to untie.

Thanks! It’s probably silly, but I like how clean this one looks. I’ve been trying to reverse-engineer it for the last hour and getting frustrated by not figuring it out… your comment gives me some direction.

Depends. If it is really tight, and you are trying to get it untied, it called a dirtysunvbitchmotherfarkingpieceofshiat knot.

That's what I use for the bungee necklace loop, with the mouthpiece inside the knot. Double Fisherman's/Grapevine bend is overkill there.
